WMATA Escalator Replacement Project to Close One of Two Judiciary Square Metro Stop Entrances/Exits for 10 months

Date
October 30, 2017

WHAT: Metro stop entrance closure for escalator replacement

WHEN: Monday November 13, 2017 through September 2018

WHERE: Judiciary Square, metro’s red line, DC Courthouse Fourth Street Exit

Beginning Monday, November 13, and continuing for approximately 10 months, one of the two entrances to the Judiciary Square stop on Metro’s red line (the southern entrance, at 4th Street and Indiana Avenue, closest to the Police Department and DC Courthouses) will be closed as the escalator is replaced. WMATA is handing out information and has posters at the Judiciary Square station. The DC Courts want to alert all employees, attorneys, jurors, parties with cases, and others that this entrance/exit will be closed, but that the F Street Exit, by the Law Enforcement Memorial and National Building Museum, would be open.
