JOINT D.C. COURTS/D.C. BAR CONFERENCE TO FOCUS ON THE FUTURE OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION

The DC Courts and the DC Bar will hold their biennial joint conference this Thursday and Friday, April 10 and 11, 2008.  Judges of the DC Court of Appeals and Superior Court and members of the DC Bar will discuss the impact various social, technological and economic factors will have on the future of the legal profession.  The topic of this year’s biennial conference is Transitions and the Future of the Legal Profession.  The two chief judges will deliver their ‘State of the Judiciary’ remarks and the President of the DC Bar will deliver a ‘State of the Bar’ address.
