Juror Appreciation week kicked off with a change of scenery that included snacks, coffee and a warm welcome from the Chief Judge of the Superior Court, Robert Morin. The Juror's Lounge was filled with District residents prepared to do fulfill their civic duties, over 30,000 people are summoned for jury duty every year. "It is an honor to serve and we here at the Superior Court sincerely appreciate the sacrifice that you all make to ensure access to justice."
Judge Milton Lee spent his morning greeting and speaking to jurors as they waited in the check-in line, telling them how he appreciated their patience and dedication to serving. Juror Appreciation Week is an annual celebration honoring the excellent service and commitment of citizens who perform jury duty.
