The 27th annual ceremony takes place at the courthouse Saturday. More than 20 adoptions will be finalized at the ceremony, and all children adopted in the city within the last year are invited to attend along with their families.

Nearly 30 children in Washington will have their adoptions finalized as part of "Adoption Day'' at Superior Court. A total of 29 adoptions will be finalized Saturday during this year's Adoption Day ceremony. Each child and his or her family will be introduced, and a judge will then sign their adoption decree.

Drug Court graduates and their families take the stage to thank Drug Court professionals for their work and tell the stories of their transformation in Drug Court.
