Overview

The Tax Office receives all petitions for review of DC tax assessments and any related civil penalties imposed by the District of Columbia. The Tax Office also handles all proceedings brought by the District of Columbia for the imposition of criminal penalties levied by or on behalf of the District of Columbia per DC Code 11-1201.
