Bio

Joe Esposito is a litigation partner at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP in Washington, D.C., where his practice focuses on complex business disputes.

Mr. Esposito began his career with federal judicial clerkships at both the trial and appellate courts. He has practiced litigation for 38 years, first on Wall Street and, since 1982, in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Esposito also serves on the volunteer mediator panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He co-chairs the Mediation Committee of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution.

Mr. Esposito is a member of the American Law Institute. He has been recognized by Chambers USA for Litigation (Band 3): General Commercial (District of Columbia), 2010 through 2018. Mr. Esposito serves as an Adjunct Professor at the George Mason University School of Law. He has also been on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Esposito graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo, magna cum laude, and from the New York University School of Law, where he served on the Annual Survey of American Law.
