The Family Court Social Services Division's Intake Services Offices are located at the Youth Services Center and the Moultrie Courthouse.
If the DC Attorney General (OAG) decides to file a case with the court, it will be assigned to a judge who will hear the case. Within three days, the case will be assigned to a CSSD Satellite Office where an assigned Probation Officer will be responsible for supervising the child.
Moultrie Courthouse
If a child is arrested and brought to courthouse before 1:00 p.m., a probation officer will screen the case and submit recommendations to the Court.

Youth Services Center
If a child is arrested after 1:00 pm, he or she is first taken to Juvenile Processing Center at 5000 Hayes Street before being taken to the Court Social Services Division (Juvenile Probation) at the Youth Services Center (YSC) for screening and interviewing by a juvenile probation officer.
If your child is assessed as eligible for release from YSC you will be required to come to YSC to receive your child. If he or she is not released they will be transported to the Moultrie Courthouse the following morning (except for Sundays) for an initial hearing before a judge. The Courthouse is located at 500 Indiana Avenue, NW.
