Overview
Family Court Central Intake Center (CIC) is the single location for filing legal documents in all Family Court cases. You may file your documents in person, online or by mail.
You can file in person at the Family Court Central Intake Center (CIC) during normal business hours at the address listed below.
If you need to file in person after CIC is closed, you can use the After-Hours Mailbox located to the left of the Information window in the first floor lobby of the Moultrie Courthouse at the address listed below.
You can file documents online using CaseFileXpress, the court's online eFiling platform.
- Attorneys must eFile, unless specifically excluded by administrative order (organizations that hold a 501(c)(3) IRS tax status).
- If you do not have an attorney, you may eFile but you do not have to. If you do eFile, you consent to receive filings by eService.
All eFilings must be submitted in a PDF format.
You can file your documents by mailing them to the Family Court Central Intake Center at the address below.
Need Help?
You can get help filing your documents by visiting the Self-Help Center, calling the Clerk's Office, or talking to a lawyer.
The Self-Help Center can help you find and complete forms, give you legal information about family law and procedure, and refer you to a lawyer. The Self-Help Center cannot give legal advice (tell you what's best for your case or what the judge will decide), or represent you in your case.
You can visit the Self-Help Center in person during normal business hours at the address below or call them at the phone number below.
If you have questions about your case filings, you can call the Clerk's Office at the phone number below for general information, or visit it in person at the address below.
The court has resources to help you find a lawyer, talk to a lawyer at the courthouse, or visit a legal clinic for help with your case.
