David J. Kapson

Bio

David J. Kapson received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, and his Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. He became licensed to practice law in 2009 and joined the team at CHASENBOSCOLO two years later. He is now a shareholder with the firm.

David is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Mr. Kapson has represented hundreds of injured workers in Workers’ Compensation claims in all three jurisdictions, as well as handling matters which fall under the Longshore Act, the Defense Base Act, and matters involving Non-Appropriated Funds.

David has served as a member of the Board of Governors for the Trial Lawyers Association of Washington, D.C. for several years. He has recently been elected to the Executive Committee of the TLA-DC and currently holds the position of Treasurer within the organization.

Mr. Kapson has served as a mediator for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals Mediation Program since 2022 and is available to mediate workers’ matters for the Court.
