A ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the official opening of the Mayor's Services Liaison Office within the new Family Court at the DC Superior Court. The office will respond to inquiries and requests for information, consult with case workers to access available services, and facilitate inter-agency coordination to enhance the level of services provided to families and children whose cases are before the Family Court. Representatives from the Child and Family Services Agency, the DC Departments of Health, Mental Health, Human Services, and the District of Columbia Public Schools will have representatives within the Office.
