DCCA has scheduled oral arguments to take place in the Moot Courtroom at the Howard University School of Law on January 29, 2013. Cases to be argued include Glynn P. Neal v. United States, In Re: NA.H.; N.H., APLT, and In Re: Claudette M. Winstead, II, Bar Registration No. 447368 Board No. 10-BD-114. This scheduling of off-site oral arguments is the second session this year to be held at an area law school, part of the Court’s education outreach initiative. Earlier this month, DCCA held oral arguments UDC’s David A. Clarke School of Law. This initiative grew out of the collaborative efforts of Chief Judge Washington and the local area law school deans in an effort to enhance the real-world litigation experience of local law students. The judges will participate in several activities with the students, including a Q & A session immediately following the arguments.

PRESS NOTE: The Court of Appeals’ rule prohibiting televising or video-taping oral arguments will remain in effect.
