COURTS TO HOLD 'EAST OF THE RIVER' TOWN MEETING D.C. COURT JUDGES TO TALK WITH EAST OF THE RIVER RESIDENTS ABOUT THEIR PUBLIC SAFETY CONCERNS

On Saturday, October 18, 2003 from 10am to 2pm, judges and other officials from the DC Courts will meet with residents of the 6th Police District (Ward 7) to explain the community court initiative and hear the community residents' concerns and suggestions.  

WHAT: TOWN HALL MEETING FOR RESIDENTS OF 6D/ WARD 7  

WHERE: Marshall Heights Community Center 3939 Benning Road, SE  

WHEN: Saturday, October 18th - 10am to 2pm  

WHO: Judge Noel Kramer, Presiding Judge, Superior Court Criminal Division and  Presiding Judge, East of the River Community Court Magistrate Judge Richard Ringell, DC/Traffic Community Court 

THE PUBLIC IS ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND  

Note: This meeting was originally scheduled for September 20th, but was rescheduled due to the hurricane. A community meeting with residents of the Seventh Police District (Ward 8) was held on September 27th.
