DC Superior Court and the DC Child and Family Services Agency will co-host their 29th Annual DC Adoption Day ceremony on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 10am to noon. The ceremony is designed to celebrate the joys of adoption and encourage area residents to consider adopting or fostering a child in the District’s child welfare system. Over 15 new families will be created at this year’s ceremony. Each child and his or her family will be introduced to the audience as they come forward and their judge then signs the final adoption decree.

WHEN: Saturday, November 21, 2015 - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
CFSA is currently seeking permanent, loving, adoptive homes for 86 of the nearly 1100 children in foster care in DC. There will be social workers at the event, as well as representatives from local organizations that support foster and adoptive parents and foster children.
