The DC Superior Court's Family Court will host a Juvenile Summit on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, convening juvenile services stakeholders to highlight strength-based and best practice programming in the District in order to positively impact court-involved youth.

Attendees will include officials from the DC Superior Court’s Family Court, the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, the Office of the Attorney General of the District of Columbia, and the following DC agencies: Department of Youth Rehabilitative Services, Child and Family Services Agency, Metropolitan Police Department, Department of Mental Health, Addiction and Prevention Recovery Administration, and the DC Public Schools. In addition, representatives from numerous non-profit organizations, youth-based programs, and charter schools have been invited.
