The program works with participants to treat their addiction and build parenting and life skills.
- FTC services help participants become substance-free; emotionally, financially and personally self-sufficient; and to improve their parenting and coping skills.
- FTC provides treatment based on an assessment of each participant’s needs, working with other DC agencies and organizations1 .
- FTC is voluntary, with four phases, and lasts a total of 12 to15 months. Each phase has specific goals, expectations and requirements. Participants work closely with a Recovery Specialist to develop an individualized Recovery Plan focused on their needs. There is no minimum time that a participant is required to remain in a phase.
