The courtroom called Judge in Chambers (JIC) handles a variety of emergency hearings, short-term cases, and other administrative matters in the Civil Division. Below you will find information about the most common matters handled in JIC, as well as applications and forms you can print and complete online.

In some instances, applicants/parties may be required to attend a hearing before a judge in JIC. Please note that these hearings will rarely be on the same day that an applicant/party first comes the court and are held remotely.
