History is examined best by looking through the eyes of those who lived it. The Wills Project is granting area residents an opportunity to do just that. The DC Superior Court is adding three wills and an apprenticeship contract to its current exhibit of thirteen wills of influential Washingtonians. This addition will be appropriately celebrated in the midst of Black History Month, at an opening reception on Thursday February 17, 2010. The event is sponsored by the Probate Division of the DC Superior Court and the DC Bar’s Estates, Trusts, and Probate Law Section.
