Reception to show appreciation for students’ artwork
WHAT: Reception for student artists whose work decorates the new Family Court space

On Wednesday, October 13th, one hundred DC Public School students will be recognized for creating over 400 pieces of artwork that now decorate the walls of the new Family Court space. The students, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, will gather with their parents, teachers and principals in a ceremony to show the Courts’ appreciation for their efforts. Following these remarks, a reception will be held in the lobby of the JM-level.
Both students and judges will be available for interviews and photo opportunities during the reception.
