Lunch Presentation and Networking— “Crucial Connections: How Hollywood, Parents and Communities Can Help Reduce Teen Pregnancy

Facilitators:

 Katherine Suellentrop, Director, State Support, National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy

This lunchtime presentation will encourage participants to think about the many influences in teens’ lives that can support and reinforce teen pregnancy prevention messages. Presenters from the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy will share examples of their work with entertainment media, parents, and community leaders as a way to provide specific examples and to spark ideas. They will share messages that resonate with teens and adults and offer insight about other support networks that can help youth delay pregnancy until they are ready.
