Course on Fundamentals of Probate Practice on March 6, 13, and 20, 2008
The Probate Division of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia announces a course on the fundamentals of practice in the Probate Division.
Those attorneys who desire placement on the Court's Fiduciary Panel must complete this three-session of videotape viewing course.
Review of the Fundamentals of Practice videotapes will be offered twice a year in March and September. The next series of reviews will be offered on the following dates:
- Thursday, March 6, 2008 - Videotape #1
- Thursday, March 13, 2008 - Videotape #2
- Thursday, March 20, 2008 - Videotape #3
Each session will begin at 1:00 pm in the conference room of the Probate Division, Room 309, and will last up to three hours. Please register in advance and report to the Office of the Register of Wills; Room 311; Building A, 515 5th Street, NW; Washington, DC 20001 at least 15 minutes prior to the starting time.

Participants will receive confirmation via email. Course materials will be available in advance on the website. A pre-test will also be emailed to each participant a week before each class and should be completed before the class. The test is intended to be an aid to learning. The answers will not be used to evaluate the student or to determine eligibility for admission to the Fiduciary List.
